About Me:
-I am a fourth generation princess.
-I eat, sleep, and breathe Shakespeare.
-I parle un peu de francais.
-I pretend I'm Irish.
-I read more than I should. A WHOLE lot more than I should.
-My books are revered, as they should be. (No, you can't borrow one.)
-Magazines are trashy. Almost every single one.
-I can quote Shakespeare, Pirates, and the Gilmores extensively.
-I know several (ok, many) Shakespearean sonnets by heart. In addition to the plays, songs, movies....
-I like Poe. He was a cool dude. "Nevermore."
-I am a Stratfordian. Firmly.
-I love school. Well, Spring Hill, anyway.
-I know the words to practically every Disney song. I sing them loudly and proudly.
-I own almost every Disney movie ever made. I still buy more. I still watch them.
-I have an extremely large collection of all things Eeyore. "Thanks for noticin' me."
-I am a writer, not a news reporter. I appreciate the beauty of the English language. I delight in correct grammar. I adore superfluous verbiage.
-I hate reality shows. Especially Survivor.
-I love coffee. It's the lifeforce.
-Pizza's a close second.
-I don't eat left-overs. (Except for pizza.)
-I love toaster ovens, but microwaves are evil.
-Barq's makes me hyper. Extremely so.
-I like Jelly Belly jelly beans.
-I'm not a fan of chocolate.
-I don't eat cake. I despise icing.
-Clowns really freak me out.
-I DO love scary movies.
-I think Hannibal Lecter is hilarious. Fava beans, anyone?
-Electronics hate me. But I LOVE my BlackBerry, Vaio, Reader, and, oddly, Titania, my iPod.
-I think my DVR is the greatest thing since sliced bread. [See above.]
-Superfluous is a really cool word.
-I love happy endings. Disney kind of ruined me--in addition to giving me unrealstic expectations about hair.
-You won't find my happy places anywhere, because they are in books. Usually, I'd rather have my head in the clouds and my nose in a book than be in the real world.
-It was said well, "people say life's the thing, but I prefer reading."
-"Literature is my utopia."
